A home in La Cresta? Not for just everyone. There are a few factors that make La Cresta real estate the right fit.

1. Money- let’s face it. This isn’t the “tract home” community that has been replicated throughout the Temecula valley- and those communities are quite nice- I live in one and enjoy it thoroughly. These homes are custom built on large multi-acre lots (5 acre minimum). You have to pay for that much land anywhere near any kind of urban area and the Murrieta area is no different, although homes here are cheaper than similar property closer to LA and Orange Counties. The price difference is expressed in commute times. The better your financial situation, especially if you’re not tied to an employment location, the more likely you’re a candidate for La Cresta real estate.

2. Lifestyle preference. If you like urban living, fast city life and accessibility to a 7/11 and gas station around every corner- if you prefer a high-rise flat with an ocean view then La Cresta isn’t for you. La Cresta is a high desert setting and it’s distinctly removed from urban influence. The nearest store may be 10-15 minutes away from your front door. La Cresta real estate is situated in a near rural setting with ample mountain views scattered with horse properties.

3. Custom homes – As previously mentioned, homes in La Cresta are custom built. La Cresta Custom Homes for sale are not as abundant or available as tract homes and values are relatively higher. If you’re looking for a custom home in a comfortable setting with moderate dry climate and spectacular views, La Cresta real estate is for you.
