Plenty Of Summer Fun Near Fullerton Homes For Sale

Fullerton always has an active downtown anyway with nearby colleges including CSUF, Fullerton College and Hope International University in Fullerton just blocks away from downtown Fullerton. Homes prices in the area are market driven but remain stable and competitive due to high demand for living space for staff and students alike. In the summer things pick up even more as students who live in town and people involved with the college scene have more free time. The monthly art walk comes alive as vendors along with the Fullerton College art department get into swing even more in the monthly Fullerton Art Walk. I walked through downtown a few Friday evenings back and landed upon what turned out to be some sort of “mini art walk” in advance of the scheduled first Friday art walk. The event was sponsored by the Fullerton College Art Department and had live entertainment and some pretty impressive work by students on display. I took some video and photography to share here.

Homes in Fullerton – The Chapman Building – Downtown

Though it’s an old 20th century style building, the Chapman Building, located in the heart of downtown Fullerton, has been retrofitted to resist earthquakes. The steel frame building was analyzed and designed using three dimensional computer analysis software. This is one of my favorite landmarks in downtown Fullerton. The downtown is one of the attractions that make homes for sale in Fullerton a good idea.

Just thought I’d share this cool window display in Fullerton CA. Vintage memorabilia is often a running theme in the city which keeps its history well highlighted. Downtown Fullerton is a mix of old and new. The local colleges keep the newness at the forefront but the city’s history as a central destination for early (and present) railway routes accentuate the old as well.

An excellent banquet hall and restaurant, Angelo’s And Vinci’s, one of Downtown Fullerton’s many well known dining spots. Excellent for a lunch or a wedding reception. Downtown Fullerton adds to the value and enjoyability of homes in Fullerton.

Downtown Fullerton – Plenty of Free Parking

The parking in Fullerton is not a deterrent to visiting downtown. There are several public parking lots and structures with free parking all the time. Usually, your destination is within one or two of Fullerton’s small city blocks.

Downtown Fullerton is unique in its history and its down-home feel today. The downtown area is always a pleasant place to visit with many shops and restaurants. It’s not too big and Downtown is always minutes away from any Fullerton or Brea home.
