Since PROVIDI scans were acquired and stored between 2002 and 2005 and were later reconstructed, a prospective reconstruction with new generations of scanners would likely lead to better image quality and theoretically not comparable to our results. While a prospective study with the resulting improvement in the quality of stored reconstructions could improve reliability and adequacy, we believe that our dataset provides a realistic assessment of how AVs could cope over a range of generations of scanners currently used in a large number of territorial parameters and patterns. By comparing two methods of measurement, it is interesting not only to estimate both the bias and the limits of the agreement between the two methods (interdeccis agreement), but also to evaluate these characteristics for each method itself. It is quite possible that the agreement between two methods is bad simply because one method has broad convergence limits, while the other is narrow. In this case, the method with narrow limits of compliance would be statistically superior, while practical or other considerations could alter that assessment. In any event, what represents narrow or broad boundaries of the agreement or a large or small bias is a practical assessment. Intraobserver reliability for the instability classification was significantly better for Method 2 than for the other two measurement techniques. The percentage agreement between the two instability ratings was 98%, 94% and 96% for method 2, 88%, 90% and 84% for method 1, 86%, 82% and 78% for method 3 (Table 4). At the intra- and interobserver level, we assessed compliance and reliability (Table 1). The agreement emphasizes the absolute proximity of repeated measures  and is particularly important in assessing the usefulness of a measure to track changes in status over time, with repeated measurements.
For categorical measures (presence of fractures in both the vertebrae and patients, lowest degree of fracture), we calculated absolute match  (i.e. the proportion of cases where the first assessment was exactly similar to the second). At the interobserver level, the values were calculated only for the first sentence of each observer. Compliance with continuous measurements (as a percentage of altitude loss and cumulative fracture) was assessed on the basis of Bland-Altman approval limits of 95% , which can be interpreted as the maximum size, with which repeated measurements in each direction should be different in 95% of repetitions. Reliability indicates whether, despite misjuding, a test can make an effective distinction between the study subjects (in our case, or the patients). The reliability of a measure is essential in diagnostic practice, where the distinction between the persons concerned and the persons not concerned is the main objective at a single time. Intraclassical correlation coefficients are most consistent for Method 2 (ICC 0.93-0.96), followed by Method 1 (ICC 0.88-0.91) and Method 3 (ICC 0.81-0.87). The intraobserver agreement (% of the measures repeated in the 0.5 degrees of the initial measure) was between 76 and 96% for all techniques, method 2 being the best match (92% to 96%). Comparisons between observers varied considerably with Interobserver`s reliability correlation coefficients between 0.54 and 0.89.
