In a time when tourism is waning, a welcome event came to Palm Beach County. Dubbed, “Our own little World Cup here in Palm Beach County” the event generated bookings for 10,000 hotel rooms from Jupiter to Boca Raton. An estimated $8 million was brought to the local economy. Wellington has enough polo fields at the International Polo Club to host the entire event comfortably.
